Our American Red Cross certified instructors have built a solid reputation of helping individuals overcome learning how to swim. From helping a child get over his or her fear of water to an adult accomplishing swimming laps, our instructors are always energetic and focused on the student.
We do not require a parent to be present during lessons, but instead leave the choice up to you – after all, you know your child better than we do. If you think your child would learn better with or without you there, it’s fine by us. Your instructor will talk to you after each lesson and provide feedback on the progression of your little swimmer.
Important Swim Lesson Information
Individual and group swim lessons are available! You can contact Andy Gray by calling 205.776.3195 or emailing email@example.com for more information or to get registered for your swim lessons! Our swim instructors will be able to work with swimmers from beginner through skill development. We will provide interactive instructors that will have personalized lessons planned out to accommodate swimmer needs and goals.
We begin our private lessons as early as the first weekend that the pool opens. Each lesson is 30 minutes long. The date and time of your lesson will be determined between you and your individual instructor. We ask that students do not arrive late as our instructor’s time is constrained by other scheduled lessons. Schedule one most any day of the week and at any time – whatever works best for you!
Cost is $30 per lesson or $125 for 5 lessons purchased together.
Swim Lesson Cancellation Policy
It is our desire as teaching professionals to provide the highest quality instruction to all members. Due to the very high demand for swim lessons, and also a high frequency rate of last minute cancellations and no shows, we will be implementing a 24 hour cancellation policy. In developing this policy we have spoken to many comparable country clubs in the area for information as well as consulted the Sports & Social Committee. As a courtesy to our members and teaching professionals, the policy requires that cancellations that fall within the 24 hour period be charged the standard lesson rate. Personal or immediate family emergencies and illnesses as well as cancellations due to weather will be excused and the professional will also have discretionary allowances.
